pagi yg indah.
gw lagi nungguin jam 1 buat ke salon utk persiapan pesta sweet 17nya dea, jadi gw buka inet aja, untuk membunuh waktu.
trus gw buka youtube, dan gw iseng cari video 'the scientist'-nya coldplay....
dan videonya tuh aneh banget, jadi si Chris Martinnya nyanyi seperti biasa, forward-moving, tapi body movementnya backwards....pokoknya aneh, deh.
nah, gw trus cari lagi di you-tube, versi reverse-nya video ini alias the actual method used by the singer to film this video clip, dan gw ketemu video itu. jadi di video itu, video clip-nya sih jalannya maju, cuma gantian si Chris Martinnya yg nyanyinya mundur!!
kok bisa gitu ya? sumpah keren banget....akhirnya gw coba cari tau ttg background video ini, dan liat kutipan yg gw temuin dari mtv.com:
'Once Thraves and Coldplay singer Chris Martin hashed out the idea for the clip — in which Martin backs his way through a horrifying car crash that appears to kill his onscreen girlfriend — the singer set about the monthlong task of studying his lyrics and learning how perform them back to front.
"The original idea was a straight narrative without the lead singer in the video," said Thraves. "But Chris wanted to be in the video and he was really excited to learn how to sing the song backward.
"He got a tape of the song recorded backward and he listened to it over and over. He's a very passionate guy, so he got really into it. What we learned later on is about the problems with phonetics, because you have to be very careful with the lip movement so that when you end on a sound your mouth is formed in the right way."'

pelajaran yg bisa diambil dari video ini: kreativitas itu butuh perjuangan yang sangat besar dan kerja yang sangat keras agar kreativitas tersebut dapat terwujud...susah memang jadi org kreatif, terutama bagi entertainer, yg memang udah diwajibkan untuk memiliki kreativitas dalam menjalani bidang pekerjaannya.....bayangin, berapa kali take tuh pas lagi bikin video clipnya....
mungkin pada ngga ngerti kali ya, knapa gw ngomong ini.....
